Recently, the stunner wore a red and white saree to an event and since she has never put her wrong foot forward in making a public appearance in a saree, the diva nailed it again.



The event she graced was a Gala Dinner held at an upscale hotel in Mumbai where Bollywood personalities were felicitated for their contribution to the cinema. Deepika was also honoured by the organisers of the event. Deepika looked fiery in striped georgette saree with a textured full sleeve blouse and embroidered metallic cuffs from Sabyasachi's upcoming Spring Summer 2018 collection.

Deepika looked absolutely glorious in the fun stripe saree. Instead of a heavy blouse, the actor paired her sari with a black blouse with a broad gold embroidery detail on its sleeves that complemented her drape. When it came to accessories, she wore nothing but crystal drop earrings. To go with her traditional ensemble, nothing would do but the star's trademark combination of winged liner, red lips, dewy skin and hair tied in a sleek bun.

She gave her saree a fun spin by pairing it with a royal lion patch belt.
